What it does
A reverb with two pitch shifters hung off the tail, each set in semitones or cents, so the decay climbs or falls away from the source note into long shimmering voices. A delay knob holds the shifters back until after the note is struck, feedback passes through a pitch kill point on its way to the top, and freeze sustains the tail while new notes play dry over it. Mix, decay, size, gain and a three band EQ sit alongside a ribbon that any set of dials can be assigned to, plus a hot switch for two saved states.
In the demo
Jade builds it up in AUM on a Ravenscroft piano played from a KeyStep 37, one control at a time, then sets the two shifters slightly apart in cents so they slide against each other. She runs the five artist presets and the short, medium and long factory banks, then moves to a vocal.
Worth knowing
The tails run long, so it fits pads and sustained material more than percussive parts. Jade notes the Eventide reverbs share this layout, so the ribbon and hot switch behave the same way across the range.
