- 14:01The interface: incoming audio split into an above and a below section
- 15:41Verge sets where the split falls, heard with one section muted
- 18:05Per-section sustain, drive and filter
- 19:54Drift, which smears the section like a blur tool
- 22:14SC amount, ducking the below envelope under the above

What it does
An effect that divides an incoming signal into two amplitude sections, above and below a threshold set by the Verge control, then processes each one on its own path with sustain, drive, filter and a smearing Drift control. A sidechain amount ducks one envelope under the other, and a smoothing control rounds off the gating edges.
In the demo
Jade runs it over a long ambient piece, then mutes one section at a time so the split is audible, and holds each knob to read its description on screen. She goes through the presets, adds it to a drum loop to chop transients, and stacks it with Flu and GlitchScaper in AUM.
Worth knowing
The results tend toward gated, stuttered and glitched textures rather than tidy dynamics control. There is a desktop version sold separately through K-Devices at a higher price.
