What it does

A phaser modelled on a four-stage pedal from the late 1970s, built as two independent channels of notch filters swept by an LFO. Waveform choices go past triangle and sine to infinite rise, infinite fall, sample and hold, composite and parallel shapes, each with its own drive and bias. Rate can free run or lock to host tempo, and a range mod page adds curve editing with two sets of control points.

In the demo

Jade runs it in AUM across electric guitar, classical guitar samples, synth strings and drums, first explaining what phasing actually is, then stepping through every LFO shape so each is audible on its own. She sweeps the stereo mode from LR toward mid-side, works the low and high sweep controls, and runs the factory preset bank.

Worth knowing

The depth is in the modulation pages rather than the pedal graphic, so it rewards patching over preset flicking. Anyone wanting a single rate-and-depth phaser will be looking at a lot of controls they never touch.
