What it does
A shaken percussion instrument you play by picking the device up and moving it. There is an egg, a shaker, a tambourine and a set of bells, swapped by swiping, and a row of buttons along the bottom switches the feel between loose, normal and tight. It is built for iPhone, where a phone in the hand stands in for the real thing, and it also installs on iPad.
In the demo
Jade covers it as a short aside inside her Pana episode, on her phone rather than the iPad the rest of the show runs on. She plays each of the instruments, works through the three response settings, and points out that the bells suit anything seasonal.
Worth knowing
Shaking an iPad is not how anyone would want to play this, as Jade says herself, so treat it as a phone tool. Anyone after a sequenced percussion part rather than a live performance gesture will want a drum machine instead.
