What it does

A guitar amp modelled on a 1974 Orange OR120, with a six-position FAC attenuator that reshapes the mids and low end, an HF drive presence control and a two-band EQ. Four stomps sit in front: noise gate, doubler, compressor and an 808 octane. Behind it are five cabinets, two movable mics plus an ambient room mic, and a delay, reverb, EQ and compressor section.

In the demo

Jade plays an LTD six string through it in AUM, moving the mics for position, distance, off-axis angle and phase. She runs the factory presets from clean through crunch, then builds a short track with drums, layered guitars and the NA Bass Driver.

Worth knowing

Presets are only reachable through the menu button, with no arrows on the front panel, which Jade finds slow when auditioning. It aims at classic and hard rock crunch rather than death metal. Nembrini sells a desktop version on their own site.
