What it does
A delay that harmonises what it repeats. A top row of faders decides how much of each interval joins the direct signal, a bottom row does the same for the delay taps, and a single note can come back as a chord underneath the part. Each slot toggles between two choices, a third or a fourth, a fifth or a fourth, a sixth or a fifth, an octave or a seventh. A filter, feedback, millisecond or host-synced time, and poly and mono modes sit around them.
In the demo
Jade builds it up from zeroed faders on electric guitar so each interval is audible alone and then on the repeats. She MIDI learns the toggles and knobs to an Arturia KeyStep and changes harmonies mid-phrase, then runs vocals through a handheld mic, piano, a distorted lead and a synth patch.
Worth knowing
Mono mode is the one for vocals and single lines, poly for chords and keys. Jade calls it hard to demonstrate because it is not a delay to drop on a bus and forget; the intervals need setting per part, and her uses run to shimmers, soundscapes and experimental guitar.
