What it does
It splits incoming audio into four frequency bands on a movable crossover bar and gives each band a sphere controlling pan, stereo width and level, dragged and pinched directly. Each band has its own delay, chorus, reverb and sidechain compressor, its own modulation, and its own randomization. Movement runs on a shared transition length in bars, with curves from linear to elastic, plus twelve snapshots and MIDI CC mapping. The bands can also be routed out as separate multibus instances.
In the demo
Jade solos each band on a drum loop so the split is audible, then works through pan, width, randomization and the per band effects, and finally routes the bands to four AUM tracks with different plugins on each.
Worth knowing
The result is constant stereo movement, so it suits drones, pads and live performance more than a static mix. Presets may not appear in the AUv3 until the app has been opened standalone once.
