Pure Nylon

What it does

A nylon-string guitar pack for AudioModern’s SoundBox, recorded in the same sessions as Sonora Cinematic’s Panorama Acoustic library for Kontakt. The core presets are soft plucked, picked and harmonics, with a 12-string variant, and the rest build on them: frozen reverb washes, self-playing improv patches, moving pluckscapes, added fifths and octaves on the mod wheel, and three sequence presets. Both WAV and FLAC sets come in the download.

In the demo

Jade imports the pack in AUM and plays the presets from a keyboard, then feeds them from 4Pockets Strummer so the chords come off a strum surface. She holds single notes to show the improv patches retriggering themselves, edits the modulators driving them, and opens a sequence preset to change its pattern.

Worth knowing

It needs SoundBox, which is a free download, and the same files load on desktop. Several presets keep playing and shifting under a held note, so anyone after plain fingerstyle guitar should watch the plucked and picked section first.
