Pure 12-String

What it does

A 12-string acoustic guitar sound pack for AudioModern’s SoundBox sampler, the third and final of Sonora Cinematic’s Pure guitar series after Pure Nylon and Pure Steel. Its pluckscapes are unsynced cascades that keep evolving while notes are held, in plucked, picked, fifth-and-octave and tremolo articulations, each in sparse and dense variants. Fifteen MPE-responsive presets, several driven by the mod wheel, and a 1.2 GB FLAC or 2.19 GB WAV download.

In the demo

Jade installs the pack into SoundBox as an AUv3 in AUM and holds chords under each preset so the cascades are audible, then plays single notes on the tremolos and rides the mod wheel on the crossfade presets.

Worth knowing

Requires SoundBox 1.2 or later; the free SoundBox tier is enough to play it. This is a soundscape pack more than a strummed guitar, so anyone wanting a straight 12-string for rhythm parts should watch the single-guitar section first.
