What it does
A multi-effects processor built on two independent stereo engines that draw on the same list of 24 algorithms, covering filters, echoes and delays, stutter, chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, auto pan, vibrato, bit crusher, distortion, fuzz, pitch shifter and three reverbs. The engines run in series, in parallel, or split so one treats the left channel and the other the right. A large XY pad drives chosen parameters, and its motion can be recorded and looped against the host tempo.
In the demo
Jade works it on a drum loop in AUM, switching routings so the difference is audible, then maps the XY axes to cutoff, delay time, feedback and drive. She records pad motion, saves it inside a preset, and later puts the app on acoustic guitar and on a held drone from Mononoke.
Worth knowing
Deep mode adds an LFO, an envelope follower and a routing matrix, so a patch can keep moving with no finger on the pad. Neither engine can load the effect the other is using, so a pair of delays is out.
