What it does
A preset expansion for DRC, Imaginando’s virtual analog polyphonic synth, sold as an in-app purchase from the store inside the app. It aims squarely at pop production: saw leads, warm pads, plucks, brass, short stabs, risers and a long run of thick sub and distorted bass patches. Each preset carries a one-line description saying what it is and whether it plays poly or mono, several are built around the arpeggiator, and the mod wheel does something on most of them.
In the demo
Jade buys the pack from the store panel, stars the ones she wants to keep and plays the whole bank from a keyboard. She flips patches between unison, poly and mono to show how far they shift, switches the arpeggiator off to hear the raw sound underneath, and drops a hip hop beat under one of them.
Worth knowing
It needs DRC itself, which is a separate purchase. The same pack is sold for DRC on desktop at the same price, where the app is licensed separately.
