What it does
An effect that records a short slice of whatever is fed into it, then replays that slice from a step sequencer. The capture window has its own length, fades and crop, while the sequencer has up to 16 steps with per-step pitch, bend, skips, direction and a variation control that reshuffles intervals each pass. Below sit panning, a volume ramp across the sequence, a pattern filter that moves between two states, and a separate filter on the dry signal.
In the demo
Jade works in AUM and Logic Pro, putting instances on a hi-hat, a kick, a bass line, pads and a one-word vocal, building each up from the dry sound. She runs through the simple, complex and experimental preset banks.
Worth knowing
It is iPad only, no iPhone build, and the desktop version from Klevgrand is sold separately at a much higher price. It needs a rhythmic source to lock onto, and takes a while to click.
