What it does

A processor that cuts incoming audio into fragments and restructures them across a grid of patterns. It feeds either way: import audio into any of eight input tracks, or point those tracks at a host’s bus outputs and let it chew whatever else is running. A template page drives everything from a row of numbers, each a parameter such as playback speed, typed in or randomised and then applied. Pages across the top cover inputs, triggers, controls, processors, outs, sequence and reverb, and tempo follows the host.

In the demo

Jade sets up two instances in AUM: one fed four tracks sent in by viewers, the other wired to the bus outputs of Fundamental, DrumComputer, RippleMaker and Aparillo. She randomises templates on both, blends the direct sources back in and moves cells around the main page.

Worth knowing

Changes take seconds to settle, and the input sources count needs updating by hand whenever samples change. Jade frames the show as experimentation rather than a walkthrough, pointing at Gavinski’s deep dive and the Sound Test Room’s video.
