What it does
A stereo delay with a ratio control that offsets the left and right delay times against each other, anywhere between one and two, including the golden ratio. An auto-pan applies to the repeats only, so the dry signal stays put while the echoes move across the field. Stereo modulation, a low-pass filter on the repeats, regen and mix finish the panel, plus a preset bank ending in a randomizer.
In the demo
Jade puts it on a plain piano part in AUM and takes each control on its own, letting the regen run away and then pulling it back. She lands on a preset at 2,000 ms and 95 percent feedback that turns the delay into a rough looper, and plays over it.
Worth knowing
It is aimed at lead and mono synth lines rather than tight rhythmic echoes. Rob Jackson also sells it inside a $3.99 Delay Suite alongside QuaDelay and AUDelay.
