What it does

A short, dark sound pack for AudioModern’s SoundBox from Kompose Audio’s Fusions line. It covers two low, slow-moving bass presets and a pad, aimed at suspense and dramatic underscore rather than at melodic playing. Each preset layers a bass hit with texture beds that keep developing after the note lands, and because the layers sit in separate SoundBox slots they can be muted or soloed and used on their own alongside sounds from other packs. It ships in both WAV and FLAC versions, around 197 MB and 98 MB respectively.

In the demo

Jade holds single keys and lets each preset run so the tail is audible, then strips the layers back one at a time to show the crackle and effect beds sitting underneath the bass.

Worth knowing

The preset count is genuinely small, which is why Jade covers it alongside two other Kompose packs in one show. It is built for atmosphere and low-end weight, so anyone wanting playable, tuned bass lines will find these too slow to respond. SoundBox is free but needs one AudioModern pack purchase to unlock fully.
