What it does
A Euclidean drum machine built around a circular sequencer. Eight sample tracks each get their own step count, hit count, accents, offset, swing and reset point, so the loops drift against each other into polyrhythms. Each track has a waveform trim, filter and LFO. It ships with 36 banks, from classic drum machines to typewriters, bottles and a Geiger counter, plus a bank editor for your own samples.
In the demo
Jade builds a groove from scratch in AUM, showing how a track’s step count reshapes the pattern and how the reset dial forces a restart. She browses the kits with the pattern running, then remaps the note output and drives DigiStix and a piano from it.
Worth knowing
MIDI out is a single stream, so individual tracks cannot go to different apps. Jade finds the playhead marker hard to see, and closing the bank editor saved a kit she had not asked to keep.
