What it does

A browser service that converts a recorded vocal into another voice. You upload or record a dry take, choose from stock singer voices or spoken-word parody characters, optionally pitch it up or down, then render at demo or master quality and download the result. Paid plans add unlimited conversions and let you train custom models from your own audio, with the number of models set by the tier.

In the demo

Jade runs the whole thing on an iPad in Safari. She converts one of her own takes through several voices, layers the results in Logic, then uploads her vocal takes and starts training a model of her own voice live, coming back later to hear the short-trained result.

Worth knowing

Results depend on a clean, effect-free input and on matching your vocal range to the target voice, and training a usable model takes hours plus ten minutes or more of source audio. Anyone wanting instant results from a single take will be doing a lot of trial and error. Two later episodes go deeper on training, one cloning another YouTuber’s voice with permission, one on death metal growls, where artifacts are audible.
