Movimento Strings Inflections

What it does

A second chapter of orchestral strings for AudioModern’s SoundBox, recorded with the same eleven-player chamber ensemble as the original Movimento Strings. The articulations put motion inside held notes: dynamic, dynamic flautando, flickering (a sustain that randomly slips into quarter-note variations) and ricochet gestures that build from slow taps into a scratchy flutter. The standard edition has 13 pre-mixed presets; professional adds 44 presets, four mic positions and a second pass played 8 bpm slower.

In the demo

Jade imports both packs into SoundBox on iPad, plays each articulation across cello and bass, violas and violins, then blends mic positions in the pro patches and lets SoundBox’s vector randomizer drift between layers.

Worth knowing

SoundBox is free but needs one AudioModern pack purchase to unlock fully. This pack is built for slow, evolving cinematic beds; anyone after short staccato or spiccato strings will not find them here.
