Morphia

What it does

An in-app sound pack for AudioModern’s SoundBox sampler, built from cinematic material and grouped as atmospheric designs, heavy hits, impact designs, low hits, low-key elements, textures and tonal impacts. Each preset takes only one of SoundBox’s blocks, so the others stay free for layering, and buying it also unlocks SoundBox itself, including importing your own samples to build packs.

In the demo

Jade plays the whole pack key by key so the full spread is audible, opening the sample map along the way to show where each sound sits and where the keyboard range starts. She finishes by stacking a texture, a tonal impact and a vocal preset in a single instance.

Worth knowing

This is scoring and trailer material, long hits and beds rather than playable melodic instruments. It is a 1.4 GB download, there is no search in the preset browser, and Jade shows a workaround for a bug where SoundBox loses track of a sample library kept on an external drive.
