What it does

A stereo looping effect that records whatever passes through it all the time, so nothing needs arming. Tapping one of the length buttons freezes the last 32, 16, 8, 4, 2 or 1 beats into a loop, which can then be dragged and stretched along the bar with snap to grid on or off. Loop timing follows the host clock. A dry wet mix sets loop against live signal, there are separate gains for each plus a limiter, and an XY pad runs the output through a low pass, neutral or high pass resonant ladder filter that latches when held.

In the demo

Jade puts it on drums in Logic, freezes short slices and slides them off the grid to build polyrhythms over the live part, then repeats the trick on piano, guitar and vocal loops before moving the setup into AUM.

Worth knowing

It captures rather than layers, so it is a performance and glitch tool more than a song looper. Jade hits sync errors in Logic that need the plugin removed and reloaded.
