What it does
A model of the MF-102 pedal, multiplying the input against a carrier oscillator to produce the clangorous sidebands of ring modulation. The carrier has a low and a high frequency range, an LFO with selectable waveforms that can sync to host tempo, and bipolar or unipolar behaviour. A mix control balances dry against modulated, and the drive stage adds saturation ahead of it. CV inputs on the back accept modulation from other Moogerfooger instances.
In the demo
Jade adds it to the chord already running through the filter pedal, sweeps the carrier by hand, then hands the job to the LFO and syncs it to the project tempo. She switches from the low to the high range for harsher tones, pulls some dry signal back in, and runs through the factory presets.
Worth knowing
The results are metallic and inharmonic by nature. It is sold separately from the other seven pedals.
