Lyran Soundscapes V3

What it does

A sound pack for SoundBox, AudioModern’s free sampler, and the third volume of Cinematic Alpha’s Lyran Soundscapes series. It pairs cinematic pads with vocal sources, so choirs, whispers and wordless voices sit inside evolving textures pitched at scoring, games and horror. The single patches load one lane at a time, which leaves room to run several as separate tracks, while the combi presets stack four lanes at once for a larger, more animated sound.

In the demo

Jade opens with a live guitar and bass jam over two instances, then imports the pack through User Sounds and plays every patch from a keyboard. She takes the individual sounds first, hearting the ones she likes into the favourites list, then works through the combis and slows the vector right down on one of them.

Worth knowing

It ships as a wave pack plus a smaller FLAC version for older iPads. SoundBox is free, but its full feature set stays locked until one AudioModern pack is bought inside the app, and these are long evolving textures rather than articulated instruments.
