Lowfi Dojo DJ Looper

What it does

A performance looper that grabs whatever is passing through it and repeats it, with loop lengths from a 16th note up to 16 bars, a speed control, tempo sync, reverse and freeze. A scratch control sweeps in both directions from a centre zero, and swing, drive, gain, a compressor and a crossfader shape the result. The whole DJ effect section can be bypassed on one switch.

In the demo

Jade runs it in AUM over an Amen Break Generator pattern, working the loop length and scratch by hand, then puts it on a Zoa and Pianoteq chain to show it on something other than drums.

Worth knowing

Long loop lengths need time to fill before you hear anything, so it rewards short settings in performance. Jade notes the knobs respond better to a straight drag than a circular turn with a mouse. Sold alongside the Vinyl Simulator in a two-app bundle.
