What it does

A sound pack for Audiomodern’s SoundBox sampler, around 31 presets built from 11 sound sources and themed on classic Italian film scoring. It covers orchestral swells, a worn upright piano, clavinet, pizzicato strings, flute, oboe and a vocalist, arranged as layered multis, arpeggiated patches and the individual sources. SoundBox itself is free, and hosts the pack on iPad, Mac and PC.

In the demo

Jade plays it into AUM alongside her own trumpet and drums, then works through the multis muting layer lines one at a time so each source is audible on its own. She spends a stretch on the arpeggiated patches, which keep sustaining string layers under the moving parts.

Worth knowing

Both WAV and FLAC versions ship, so lighter iPads can run the smaller set. Unlocking SoundBox’s own import and modulation features still requires buying one of its in-app packs separately. The vendor page calls this Life & Love while the video title reverses it.
