What it does
An automatic equalizer that listens to a track, identifies inharmonic content and filters it out. Auto learn runs for about ten seconds or until playback stops, then builds a curve you scale with an amount control and restrict with lower and upper frequency limits. A Delta button plays only what is being removed, and presets save and recall.
In the demo
Jade deliberately records an acoustic guitar and a vocal in an untreated room, then analyses each and listens to the removed material through Delta. She puts the tracks back in a full band mix, then inserts it on the stereo out, finishing on a noisy metal track built from listeners’ pets.
Worth knowing
The changes are small on a soloed track and show up mainly in a dense mix, and it is a cleanup stage rather than a replacement for tone shaping. A Mac and Windows version is sold separately by HoRNet.
