What it does
A nylon-string acoustic guitar library for SoundBox, AudioModern’s free sampler platform on iPad and desktop. It holds 26 presets: eight guitars, each with a lower-octave alternative and a pad version, plus two fret and body knock presets. The guitars were recorded through different amplifiers and rooms, so some carry tremolo, feedback and room noise.
In the demo
Jade imports the WAV pack into SoundBox via the Files app in AUM, then plays every guitar, alternative and pad in order with no added effects, and tries SoundBox’s chord and strum offset controls on guitar six.
Worth knowing
SoundBox is free, though unlocking its full features needs one AudioModern pack; this library plays without that. The download is 1.31 GB as WAV or 341 MB as FLAC, and it leans toward sparse, cinematic and ambient parts rather than strummed rhythm playing.
