What it does
A stereo reverb built from plain sliders: size, dampening, width and a dry/wet mix, with a high-pass and a low-pass filter for shaping the tail. A switchable gate stage sits on the wet signal only, with smoothing, threshold, attack and release, so the reverb can be cut short for gated-snare and reverse-style effects. Presets cover small through huge rooms plus a gated snare and a wet swell.
In the demo
Jade strips the reverb off a piano patch and works each slider in isolation, then switches the gate in and shows threshold opening and closing the tail. She moves it onto guitar, a live vocal through the spooky vocals preset, and finally a drum pattern for the gated snare.
Worth knowing
The gate can be left off entirely, in which case it is a straightforward reverb with light CPU use. There is no convolution or shimmer here, so anyone after modelled spaces will want something deeper.
