What it does

A frequency shifter and delay in one AUv3, with each module switchable on its own. The shifter is modelled on the Bode 1630 Moog module and offers ranges of 5, 50, 500 and 5,000 Hz in either direction, so it moves from gentle detune to ring modulation. An LFO with warp and stereo width and an eight-step sequencer can be assigned to any parameter, and a clipper adds dirt pre or post.

In the demo

Jade builds up each section on a Harmony Bloom pad in AUM, then moves the same patch onto a no-input mixer drone, a Hammerhead drum loop and a SpellDoser arpeggio. The delay’s skew and ducking controls get their own pass.

Worth knowing

Higher shift ranges push past pitch shifting into clangorous territory, suiting sound design and drones more than subtle correction. The quality setting raises CPU noticeably. A May 2025 update reworked the UI, added an envelope follower beside the LFO and sequencer, and added morph, a second parameter state you crossfade into on a slider, with latch and lefty modes and a lift-and-drop way to copy settings between states.
