What it does
A flanger whose sweep can come from an LFO, from an envelope follower, or from a blend of the two. Rate runs up to five hertz, depth and regeneration set how pronounced and how metallic the comb sounds, and a spread control moves the output from mono to wide stereo. Analog and digital modes change the character, and there is smoothing, a preset bank, a default reset and a randomize button.
In the demo
Jade starts on a Yamaha acoustic in AUM with a little reverb behind it, working the LFO controls on their own before switching the envelope on so the sweep triggers off her picking. She then moves to a high-gain Rhino tone and runs the presets.
Worth knowing
It is a single flanger rather than a dual engine, and the envelope response depends on how hard you play, so quiet playing barely moves it.
