What it does
A neural network model of a three-channel preamp, with lead, rhythm and clean settings that each expose their own gain, EQ and voicing switches. Around it sit an overdrive stomp used mostly as a boost, a cab section with two swappable microphones you can move for position, distance and angle, a graphic EQ, a noise gate, a tuner and a delay with reverb and tempo sync. Custom impulse responses can be loaded and exported.
In the demo
Jade drops it into an existing metal project, picks presets at random and plays through them, then records new rhythm and lead parts in Logic with it, working through mic swaps, EQ scoops and the delay along the way. She also runs it on vocals near the end.
Worth knowing
The desktop version is a separate purchase from Aurora DSP at a higher price. This is a preamp rather than a full rig, so anyone wanting deeper amp and pedal routing will want something broader.
