What it does
A tape delay with wow and flutter, a tape head EQ that rolls off the low and high end of the repeats, an erosion control and feedback compression that keeps high feedback from running away. Left and right times can be linked or set independently, synced to host divisions including dotted and triplet values or dialled in milliseconds, with stereo width up to 200 percent and a ping-pong mode. The interface resizes, showing more sections as the window grows.
In the demo
Jade runs it on a solo guitar track from her Chord Pond project, stepping through sync divisions, unlinking the two sides, widening the stereo field and pushing the feedback. She then plays the factory presets and puts it on a second guitar and a half-time drum beat.
Worth knowing
Controls are few and clearly laid out, so there is not much to dig into beyond the tape character. Anyone wanting multi-tap patterns or modulation routing will need a deeper delay.
