What it does
An atmosphere generator that captures whatever crosses an input threshold and holds it indefinitely as up to five sustainers, each with its own volume, pan, lock and fade. Tide resynthesizes the held audio additively, Glade treats it granularly, and a multi-mode filter, downsampling reverb, audio matrix and a modulation section with LFOs and sequencers sit on top.
In the demo
Jade feeds a piano, a SoundBox patch and her own vocal into three instances in AUM, then works through threshold, buffer, sidechaining via multibus, both engines, the matrix with a loaded drum sample, and modulators including sustainer age and random per sustainer.
Worth knowing
The playback sync setting silences the sustainers when the host transport stops, which caught Jade out, and tooltips did not work for her in the AUv3. A one-hour tutorial from the developer covers what this demo skips.
