Cinepads V3

What it does

The third Cinepads volume for SoundBox, AudioModern’s free sampler, from Cinematic Alpha. Twenty five sound sources and twenty five patches of science fiction leaning pads and advanced granular soundscapes, with a vector section driven by the SoundBox engine. It is shaped like volume two, around 11 GB expanded, with every layer open to muting and swapping.

In the demo

Jade covers this pack in the second half of a double show, switching to it inside SoundBox and playing all twenty five patches from a keyboard, among them Opus, Cyber Engine, The Magic Bridge, Hans Engine and Spectrum Choir. She lets several ring out untouched to show how far they travel on one held chord.

Worth knowing

It shares the video with volume two but is sold on its own page at its own price. These are long evolving textures for scoring rather than playable instruments, and the download wants external storage on an iPad.
