ChowMultiTool

What it does

A free plugin holding seven separate utility modules, switched from one menu: a parametric EQ with linear phase capability, an analog-style EQ with fixed bass and treble bands, a state variable filter, a brick wall band pass, a band splitter, a wave shaper with oversampling, and a signal generator. Parameters are exposed to the host, so any of them can be modulated or automated.

In the demo

Jade runs it on a four on the floor drum loop, moving through each module in turn, sweeping the filter by hand, drawing an EQ curve freehand with the pencil tool, then dropping the wave shaper on a bare saw wave from Pure Synth to build a part out of it.

Worth knowing

Jade notes she could not work out how to use the band splitter on iOS, since it expects to route into another track. Each module is a plain tool rather than a character effect.
