What it does

A song learning tool that listens to audio and returns chords, key, tempo, bar structure and lyrics. Sources include your own files, YouTube, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Spotify and the live microphone. The paid tier adds over 700 chords with voicings, a smart capo, score editing, transposition, pitch and speed change, looping, stem separation, MIDI export and iCloud sync. A separate chord dictionary covers guitar, ukulele, bass, mandolin, banjo and piano tunings.

In the demo

Jade analyzes songs by Pete Johns and others straight from YouTube, then works through capo positions, voicings, tempo and pitch shifting and section looping. She runs the lyric pass and points out the lines it misses, separates stems, and exports a loaded loop as MIDI.

Worth knowing

It is standalone, not an AUv3, and the desktop route is the iOS build on Apple silicon. Results vary by recording, so the editing tools matter as much as the detection.
