What it does
A noise machine with two sound sources, a synth and a modulator, fed into a ring modulator and then a switchable filter that includes a 303-style low pass and dual low pass and high pass options. Each section has its own XY pad with a sustain switch that holds its position, the pads respond to multi-touch, and every parameter is exposed for automation. It runs as an audio effect, passing input through both sections, or standalone.
In the demo
Jade builds drones and horror textures from scratch, then routes an external LFO to the pad coordinates over MIDI so the sound keeps evolving untouched. She blends the dry and wet mix to let input through, and runs it over flutes and other melodic material.
Worth knowing
It loads as an effect rather than an instrument, so in GarageBand it belongs in the effects slot. Output is noise-first and unpredictable, which is the point.
