Blue Lines and Grains for SampleWiz 2

What it does

A sample pack for BLEASS SampleWiz 2, bought as an in-app purchase from inside the app. The patches are built from short recorded sources, bowls, bells, claps, stabs, choirs and single guitar strokes, then reshaped by SampleWiz 2’s own granular and cloud engines, motion sequencer, filter, drive and effects. Patches are listed alphabetically and the list runs long enough that Jade is still in the letter D half an hour in.

In the demo

Jade plays each patch from a MIDI keyboard, mostly holding one note so the grain and motion movement carries the sound. She opens a patch made from a plain guitar stroke to show the motion sequencer and modulation doing the work, reverses samples, and toggles BLEASS Reverb in and out over the top to show what it adds.

Worth knowing

SampleWiz 2 is a separate purchase and the pack downloads inside it, so it takes up space on the device. These are sound design materials rather than conventional playable instruments.
