BLEASS Motion FX

What it does

A step sequencer that drives one effect at a time. The row across the top offers low, high and band pass filters, volume, pan, pitch, a frequency shifter, ring modulation, warmth, a bit crusher and a delay, and the pattern you draw into the grid below is carried over when you swap between them. Sequence length runs from four to sixteen steps with a grid knob for speed, and there are amount, randomness and smoothing controls, a dice randomizer, a dry wet mix and a bank of presets per effect. It needs the host transport running to move.

In the demo

Jade stacks instances across AUM on two 909 kits, Drum Computer, synths and vocals, hard panning one against another. She plays a real bass through it and uses a pitch pattern to turn a single held note into a repeating figure.

Worth knowing

One instance means one effect, so layered motion means several instances. Jade notes the CPU load is light enough to run one on every track.
