Bass Deluxe Amp

What it does

A two channel bass amp that runs standalone or as an AUv3. Each channel has a one knob compressor with a fast or slow switch, a boost, a drive, a nine band EQ and its own volume, with presence shared. Four cabinets are selectable, including a 4x10 and an 8x10. The pedalboard takes eight pedals before the amp and eight in the send, drawn from a vibrato chorus, digital reverb, tremolo, delay, compressor and tone drive. A tuner, backing drum loops with adjustable BPM and a 12 bar looper sit along the top.

In the demo

Jade plays an Artist bass through it with a pick, bringing pedals in one at a time, then steps through the cabinets. She jams over the backing drums, records a looper pass, then opens the same purchase on an M1 Mac in GarageBand.

Worth knowing

The foot switch strip with three banks of ten presets appears only in standalone, and the AUv3 window does not enlarge in GarageBand. There is no iPhone build. Jade reaches for Mammoth instead when she wants heavy fuzz.
