What it does
A synth influenced by the Make Noise Strega. One tonic oscillator feeds an activation stage, a bucket-brigade style delay, an absorb control and a filter. An agitator section modulates any of those from a trapezoid with speed and angle controls, and a bleed dial adds crosstalk. Six gesture pads (Crumble, Surge, Freeze, Void, Flutter, Burn) reshape the sound momentarily. It installs as two AUv3s, instrument and effect.
In the demo
Jade goes in mostly blind, zeroing a preset and raising each control in turn so every stage is heard on its own. She lets the delay self-oscillate, plays the pads from keyboard keys with trigger off, then loads the effect version on guitar and ducks the delay with companding.
Worth knowing
The decay control will run away if left high. This is a drone and texture instrument first, not a polyphonic patch synth. A desktop version is sold separately on the developer’s site at $9.99.
