What it does
A phaser with a selectable stage count from two to twelve, plus rate, depth, frequency, feedback, gain and mix. Rate runs free from a fraction of a hertz up to 10 Hz or locks to host tempo. Unlinking the channels gives left and right their own rates for wide stereo movement, and a spatial control distributes the signal three-dimensionally, which fills out a mono source.
In the demo
Jade runs it on electric guitar through a full range of settings, from a mild four-stage sweep to twelve stages with feedback high enough to self modulate, then splits the stereo rates and moves on to drums. She checks for a preset bank on air and finds none, so every sound in the demo is dialled in by hand.
Worth knowing
No presets means starting from the controls every time. The Mac and Windows edition, sold separately as ab Phaser, adds surround and dimensional features the iOS version leaves out.
