What it does
An AUv3 volume control and MIDI helper that turns an expression pedal, breath controller or fader into a usable swell. You set heel and toe limits, draw a response curve, reverse direction, add gain and watch the result on a graph. It sits anywhere in a chain, so it can silence an amp sim’s input or cut a reverb tail.
In the demo
Jade builds a guitar chain in AUM with Volume Pedal between each amp sim, MIDI learns an M-Audio pedal, and shows why she wants it: turning an amp sim’s input down leaves tone bleeding through, while this drops to silence. She shapes swell curves, tries the presets, moves it after reverb, and drives a piano with the same pedal.
Worth knowing
It is a single-purpose tool, so anyone without a continuous controller has little use for it. The Windows build sells separately at roughly $20 with a 14-day trial.
