What it does
A headphone correction plugin holding response data for a long list of headphone models. Correct mode applies the inverse of a chosen model’s curve so those headphones read closer to flat, correcting phase as well as magnitude. Simulate mode maps one pair onto another, so a pair you own can be made to behave like a pair you are considering. A gain knob scales the correction above or below 100 percent, custom curves save as programs, and an A/B compares two settings.
In the demo
Jade corrects the Beyerdynamics she is wearing, then loads Beats and Apple EarPods to show how differently each is treated. She simulates her DT 770s on a pair of Sennheisers, then puts the plugin on the stereo out in Logic Pro.
Worth knowing
The benefit depends on your exact model being in the database, and it corrects monitoring rather than the mix itself. Desktop and Android versions are sold separately.
