Riffler Flow

What it does

Generates clean guitar parts from chord progressions rather than scales, using a sampled engine that plays each string separately so the notes overlap the way a real part does. Chords are entered by hand, or left to auto mode’s character, complexity and change controls. Voicing, range, rhythm, gaps and repeat reshape a riff, and the tones run from dry and warm through crunch, chorus, reverse guitars and synths. Riffs export as audio or MIDI.

In the demo

Jade works through the rock, hip hop and EDM preset banks, varying each with the create riff button, then loads the app in AUM as a MIDI source driving a PianoTeq guitar. She also saves a progression and opens it in the original Riffler to hear the same part with a heavier tone.

Worth knowing

Progressions cannot be shared between instances yet, so Jade copies and reloads to make two parts differ. A later update added duet presets shared with Riffler and an endless mode that regenerates the riff each bar.
