What it does
A physically modelled Indian classical instrument set: sitar, sarod, tanpura and four veenas including an electric one. The screen is laid out like a fretboard with drone strings along one edge and sympathetic strings across the top that ring on their own. You swipe, hold, bend and jump between notes, or play from a MIDI keyboard, and the scale, tonic, note names, language and handedness are all adjustable.
In the demo
Jade runs scale swipes and tremolo gestures on the sitar, plays it from her Arturia keyboard, walks through the built-in tutorial and the scale list, then plays each remaining instrument with Blackhole reverb added.
Worth knowing
The free download is sitar only, with the rest behind the $9.99 unlock. Jade finds the note dots small for her fingers and there is no way to resize them yet.
