What it does

A reverb with one row of controls: brightness, character from clean through lively to chorus, distance from close to far, space from a tiny room to a very large one, decay rate, stereo width and mix. Below it sits a reverb curve carrying movable EQ points, each with its own frequency and decay, plus filters, a post EQ, pre-delay, in and out levels and MIDI learn. A DSP meter runs along the top.

In the demo

Jade runs it in AUM on a seven-string guitar stacked with a FabFilter saturation plugin and no amp sim, then on a live SM58 vocal, a piano file loaded through AudioShare, and an electronic kit played into DigiStix. She works distance against space to push the piano to the back of a hall, and walks the presets from car and closet up to cathedral and eternity.

Worth knowing

The Mac and PC version is the same app at around $300. Jade notes that FabFilter plugins bought as in-app purchases inside Auria Pro do not carry over to the standalone apps.
