What it does

A drum machine that lays each track out as a ring rather than a row. Every track carries its own step count, step duration, rotation, offset and swing, so parts drift against each other, and steps hold velocity, probability, nudge and ratcheting. Over 600 kits download from a built-in browser, samples import, and each pad gets a filter, ring modulator, distortion and two LFOs. A song mode chains patterns, fills and kit changes.

In the demo

Jade sets it up standalone first so the AUv3 can reach its folder, then pushes a kick past 32 steps onto extra pages, sends an LFO to coarse tuning so drums play a scale, and routes its MIDI out to three other drum apps on separate channels.

Worth knowing

At the time of the demo it would not record patterns into Logic and did not load there as a MIDI effect, so Jade records audio through a bus instead.
