What it does

A drum machine with eight voices, each running a synthesis model and a sampler at the same time with a blend knob between them. Every voice has its own filter, distortion, two envelopes, two LFOs and random, velocity and macro modulators, and almost any control can be a modulation target. The sequencer adds fills, swing, ratchets, probability and humanisation per lane, and a mix page carries delay, reverb and a master stage.

In the demo

Jade builds one kick from scratch, blending a sample into the synth voice and reversing it, then hangs random and velocity modulation off the pitch and the blend. She works the performance page variation dial, programs a kit in the sequencer using the fill patterns, and sets up multibus instances so each drum lands on its own channel in AUM.

Worth knowing

It is a desktop port, and Jade notes the lettering stays small on iPad. A desktop version is sold separately on the developer’s site.
