What it does
A seven band parametric AUv3 EQ, following Neon Silicon’s five band LRC5. Each band is a point on the curve that has to be double tapped before it will move, which leaves the others locked. Holding a point opens a filter type menu covering notch, low and high shelf, peaking, low pass, high pass and Butterworth, with selectable pole counts. Two fingers pinch the Q, and presets save into a user bank.
In the demo
Jade drops it in place of the EQ on a doubled rhythm guitar in a heavy metal mix built with Kev Hart, runs the factory presets, saves one to reuse across the album, then works through the filter menu. The extension quits once mid session, and she finishes by making the same moves in LRC5.
Worth knowing
There is no spectrum analyzer, so she watches GarageBand’s visual EQ to see the curve. The filter popup is small, the fine tune control would not reappear once set, and the app ships without help files.
