What it does
A kalimba, the African thumb piano, sampled per key with round robin variation so repeated notes are not identical. The playable range is two octaves. Alongside it sits a modulation section offering chorus, flanger, phaser, vibrato, tremolo and auto pan with mix and depth, a tape-style echo with feedback, and a stereo reverb. Presets can be saved, renamed and deleted, and it runs standalone or as an AUv3 in a host.
In the demo
Jade runs it in EG Nodes and AUM, where it crashes and the on-screen keyboard refuses to resize in the plugin window, so she reinstalls the store build live and carries on. She runs the presets, pushes the echo into long feedback tails, then sends it through PaulXStretch under MuseBud to turn the plucks into a drone.
Worth knowing
One instrument, sampled closely, so the range is deliberately narrow. Jade also points at a Windows and Mac version sold on the developer’s Gumroad page.
